I finally gave up on spray foam after that job in Phoenix
Last summer I helped a buddy insulate his container home outside Phoenix. We used closed cell spray foam and the heat made it cure way too fast, left these big gaps near the roof seam. Took us 2 days to fix it with canned foam. Now I just use rigid board insulation with a thermal break, it's simpler and I can do it alone.

Man that Phoenix heat sounds rough, did you manage to salvage most of it?

Nah man, you're selling spray foam short. That buddy's container job sounds like prep work failure not a product problem, I've done tons of roofs in Texas heat and never had that issue.
