My container roof leak happened 3 months in, still finding the right fix
I built my container home outside Austin last year and thought I had sealed everything perfect. About 3 months in we got a week of heavy rain and I woke up to water dripping right over the bed. Turns out the roof seams I used a basic silicone caulk on had already cracked from the heat expanding the metal. I tried a few different sealants but finally ended up using a rubberized roof coating that flexes with the temp changes. Been 6 months now and no more drips even through the summer storms. Has anyone else dealt with container roof seams failing in hot climates?

Did you ever try just slapping a rubberized coating on the seams? I used to think the basic caulk would hold up fine but after seeing mine crack in the Texas heat I'm totally on board with the flexible stuff now.

Yeah I read somewhere that rubberized roof coatings hold up way better in heat, @janahenderson, that stuff is the real deal.
