Man that's rough about your buddy's X-Men #94. Saw the same thing happen to a guy at my local shop with his Amazing Spider-Man #300. He didn't even notice until the corners started flaking off. It sucks having to redo everything but you're right, it beats watching your books rot. I just swapped all my silver age stuff over last month and my hands were cramping for days from all the bagging. Worth it though.

This kind of thing pops up everywhere once you start looking. Grocery stores got rid of those low contrast shelf tags after customers couldn't read prices from more than a few feet away. Seems like making things clear for everyone usually ends up working better than trying to be subtle.

Huh, 2,000? That's wild. I thought I was doing something with my tally but that's a whole other level of dedication. I've got a little notebook I stuff in my coffee drawer, and I think I'm maybe at 400 after a year and a half. You must have that machine dialed in perfectly by now.

Did you glue the dividers or just wedge them in there so they don't slide around?

Yeah but how often are you really dropping tools that it's worth all that rubber smell.
