Saw a container home in Phoenix with zero insulation...
I drove out to Phoenix last month to look at a container build someone was selling. Whole place hit 110 inside by 10 AM. The guy said he skipped insulation to save space. I asked about living in it and he just shrugged. How is that even livable for more than a weekend?

Read something online about a guy in Texas who tried the same thing. He ended up painting his container white just to reflect some heat, but even that only dropped it by maybe 10 degrees. Really makes you wonder why people skip the basics just to save a few inches of headroom. Insulation is cheap compared to trying to cool a metal box in the desert. I guess some folks just don't think things through before they start cutting corners.
