A bride's mom tried to do her own hair color the morning of the wedding

I was doing bridal hair at a hotel in Phoenix last spring, and the mother of the bride decided to 'touch up her roots' with a box dye at 7 AM. She used a black shade over her existing blonde highlights. It turned a weird greenish-gray and stained her forehead and ears. I had 45 minutes before the ceremony to fix it. I ended up doing a deep conditioning treatment and then a quick updo to hide most of it. What's the wildest last-minute fix you've had to pull off?

Remember that streaky orange look on the white dress? @margaret_lane I saw one where the bride had to get makeup artists in for a last minute fix. The bridesmaid's hands were a totally different color than her arms. It got on the inside collar of the dress too, like a weird stain. The photos must have needed so much editing.
