A client said my foils looked 'sad' and I fixed my whole technique
I was doing a bleach and tone in Mesa last Thursday and this older lady watched me place the last foil, then said 'those look sad, honey.' I laughed it off but then I looked at the mirror and yeah, the sections were super thin and jagged. Since then I switched to a 1.5 inch zigzag part and I'm packing twice as many foils per head, like 45 instead of 25. Has anyone else gotten weird random criticism that actually made you better at something?
