A woman in Tulsa yelled at me mid-foil for "taking too long" so I slowed down even more
She was my 9am and I was already 15 minutes behind because her toner order was wrong, but when she snapped at me I just started sectioning millimeter by millimeter. Has anyone else gotten petty revenge on a client who clearly didn't respect the process?

Started parting her hair with the tail end of my comb, picking up maybe two strands at a time and then putting them down again. She was tapping her foot the whole time but I just kept saying "almost there" while taking a sip of my coffee between each section. By the time I finished she had calmed down and actually tipped me twenty bucks, probably out of embarrassment.

60 bucks for a haircut these days and people still act like they're being waterboarded if it takes more than 12 minutes. I've seen this same thing at the DMV, at the grocery store, everywhere people just cannot handle waiting an extra 30 seconds. You basically charged her a tax for rushing and she paid it to save face, which is honestly kind of genius.
