Had a client in Austin last month who insisted on a platinum blonde that fried her hair. I told her it wouldn't work but she pushed, so I did it. Now she's mad at me for the damage.

Wait, professional advice? Ngl I thought Stella was just talking about a friend or something. That's way worse if it was actually someone ignoring paid expert help.

Honestly though, sometimes people just need to make their own mistakes to really learn. Tbh I've seen this happen where someone gets all the right advice but they're just not ready to hear it yet. They might be stuck on some idea in their own head that makes them ignore the obvious. It's super frustrating to watch, but you can't force someone to get it. They'll only change when they're finally sick of their own bad results.
