The week our only scanner died and we had to reshoot everything on a phone
Our studio scanner finally gave up last Tuesday and we had a client deadline on Friday for a 22 piece print portfolio. So my partner and I shot the whole thing on a phone in our kitchen with a $30 clip light and it came out sharper than our old setup ever did. I am not saying go burn your gear, but I am saying our $4,000 scanner was never the reason the work looked good. Anybody else shoot client work on a phone and feel weird about how well it worked?
