For 2 years I wrote prompts in a Google Doc, now I use a 3x5 index card on my monitor and it weirdly works | Creative Writing Prompts

I started keeping a running file of prompt ideas in Google Docs back in 2022 and it grew to 40 pages I never actually opened. About 6 months ago I taped a single index card to the bottom of my monitor in my apartment in Denver, and I only get to write one prompt per card before swapping it out. The limit forces me to finish the thought instead of dumping half ideas into a void, and I've actually drafted 11 full scenes off those cards since March. Curious if anyone else limits the space where they keep prompts, or do you just let the pile grow?
