Wrote 30 prompts in a month and only 2 got anyone to reply
I joined a small writing group in January and set a goal of posting one prompt a week to our little forum. Three of my first four prompts got zero replies, which stung more than I expected, and I almost dropped the whole thing. The one that worked was stupidly simple: I asked people to write a scene about a character who lies on a job application, and we got 11 responses in two days. So what makes you actually stop and write when you see a prompt? Is it a strict word limit, a weird rule, or just a really specific situation?
