Finally hit 100% on my css debug checklist at 3am

I was fixing a float issue on a client site and somehow the whole nav bar started spinning. Took me 45 minutes to find the missing overflow hidden. Has anyone else had a simple missing property turn into a total meltdown?

Yeah but I gotta be real with you, I don't see how a missing overflow hidden counts as a "total meltdown". That's just a Tuesday afternoon for most of us. You spent 45 minutes hunting down one property, that's pretty standard stuff. If you want a real horror story, try debugging a z-index war between three different frameworks at 2am when the client's whole layout breaks on mobile. That's a meltdown. Missing overflow hidden is just a learning moment, not a crisis.

Nah bro, you're being too nice. Missing overflow hidden is rookie stuff, sure. But z-index wars at 2am with three frameworks? That's a whole different level of pain. I'd rather hunt overflow hidden all day than deal with that mess.
