My small business got hit with 12 phishing emails a day, now it's down to maybe one a week

Back in March, our office inboxes were a total mess, just flooded with fake invoices and urgent 'security alerts'. It was constant. We finally had a staff meeting and made everyone do a 15-minute online training module about spotting bad links and weird sender addresses. The boss also turned on that two-factor login for our email system. The drop was almost instant. It went from a dozen a day to a couple, and now we barely see them. Has anyone else seen results that fast from just a simple training session?

Honestly, that's a huge drop. It makes you wonder how many of those earlier emails actually got clicked. The training probably scared people into paying real attention for once, which is half the battle. Turning on two-factor was the smart move, it basically locks the door even if someone falls for a link. Really shows that the easiest fixes are sometimes the most ignored.
