Someone tried to take over my gardening YouTube channel
I got a phishing email that looked like it was from YouTube, asking for my login details. I almost fell for it, but remembered to check the sender's address first. Have you guys dealt with similar scams for your creative accounts?

Ugh that's the worst, I had the same thing happen with my art account last year. Always hover over any links before clicking, the URL will look super weird like "youtube.security-help.ru" or some nonsense. I also set up two-factor on everything after that scare, takes an extra second to log in but way safer lol.

How do you even start recovering an account after someone actually gets your info? Like do you contact support first or change passwords on everything at the same time?

Honestly used to just click on any email about my accounts without really looking. Got one that seemed like it was from Google saying my storage was full, almost gave them my info before noticing the weird spelling. Now I check every single sender address, takes two seconds but saved me big time.
