Realized after 12 years I've been bleeding printer ink wrong

Was refilling my Epson tank last night and noticed the arrow on the bottle pointed down, not up like I always assumed. Drained a full 70ml of black ink into my lap before I figured out I had the bottle upside down the whole time. Anybody else have a moment where they realized they'd been doing something basic completely backwards for years?

Actually, I've seen some ink bottles where the arrow points to which end has the nozzle, not the direction you tilt it. Wait no, that's not right either. The arrow on most Epson bottles shows you which side of the bottle the spout is on so you can line it up with the tank port. But you probably already know that since you've been doing it for 12 years. That is a rough way to learn though, 70ml of ink is like half a small bottle wasted. Hope your pants survived, black ink stains are brutal.
