Finally picked a dark mode mockup over light after 3 weeks of going back and forth
I was stuck on this one portfolio project for a personal site. Kept swapping between a dark theme and a light one every other day, couldn't decide which showed off my work better. Ended up going with dark mode because it made my screenshots pop more and hid some messy gradients. How do you guys decide between light and dark for your own portfolios?

Used to be all about light mode for that clean, minimal look but you got a point. Dark mode really does make screenshots and images pop way more than I expected. Your gradients comment hit home too, definitely helps hide all those little imperfections you notice right away.
