TIL my portfolio was missing the actual problem-solving part

After a senior designer at a meetup in Austin looked at my work and asked what the client actually needed fixed, I realized my case studies showed the pretty results but none of the messy thinking that got me there.

But don't clients just wanna see the finished product anyway? I mean, if I'm hiring someone to redesign my website, I care way more about how it looks and works at the end than reading about all the dead ends they hit along the way.

Honestly @ray210, you might not care but a lot of clients do. Isn't seeing the messy process what builds trust though?
