Unpopular opinion: white space is not 'empty space' that needs filling
I keep seeing beginner posts where they cram text boxes and icons into every gap on a layout and call it 'full design' but really it just makes my brain hurt trying to figure out where to look first, am I the only one here who thinks leaving some room to breathe actually makes a poster look more professional?

...but I actually think the geometry in the batting average example is simpler than people make it. The exit velocity and launch angle stuff is just basic physics, right? Like if you hit a ball at 30 degrees with 100 mph exit velo, it's going to fly unless you get unlucky with wind or spin. I feel like people overcomplicate it by mixing in launch angle with spray charts when really it's just about how hard and where the ball goes. Once you separate the two concepts it clicks easier, no?
