Then his boss made him fix a messy product page with like 20 different card layouts. He spent an entire weekend fighting with floats and negative margins before giving up and trying grid. Called me that Sunday night sounding like he'd seen a ghost. Now he's that guy who tries to put a grid on everything even when a simple flexbox would do.
