The $250 'life coaching' app that just tracked my coffee intake

I shelled out 250 bucks for this fancy life design app in March because it promised to map out my habits and give me actionable insights. Two weeks in, it kept sending me notifications about my caffeine consumption and suggesting I schedule 'mindful pauses' every time I opened the fridge. Meanwhile, my actual goal of finding a new job was completely ignored, and the dashboard is basically a mood ring with extra steps. I honestly got more useful direction from a free spreadsheet I made in 20 minutes on a Tuesday. Has anyone else paid for a tool that ended up micromanaging your snacks instead of your life plan?

Ugh, that is such a rip-off! I feel for you, seriously. These apps promise all this big picture stuff and then just nag you about the dumbest little things. It’s like they don't even listen to what you actually need. The free spreadsheet thing is so real, too. Sometimes the simplest tools are the best because they don't get in your own way. Hope you got your money back or at least cancelled that thing fast.
