Hit 1,000 layers in a single Figma file last Tuesday

I was working on a dashboard mockup for a client and checked the layer count out of curiosity. 1,037 layers for one page. Had to spend three hours just cleaning up auto layout and grouping things properly. Anyone else run into files that just balloon like that?

The "Frame 47 copy 3" naming hits too close to home, I found a file with 800 layers last week.

Ha! 1,037 layers for one page sounds about right for Figma. I once opened a file from a coworker that had layers named "Frame 47 copy 3" and "Rectangle 289" scattered everywhere. Took me a full afternoon just to figure out what was what. Your mileage may vary but I think Figma should add a "panic button" that just auto groups everything by frame.
