Spent 3 hours trying to fix a misaligned poster on a bulletin board

I was putting up a flyer for a local zine release at the coffee shop on 5th Street. The bulletin board has those little push pins that always end up crooked. I spent a full 3 hours just adjusting the angle of one A3 poster because it kept sagging on the right side. Finally had to add three extra pins at different spots to hold it flat. Has anyone found a trick for keeping big posters straight on those cork boards without them sliding around?

oh man I feel this so hard, I had the exact same problem with a huge gig poster at the record store last month. What finally worked for me was taking a small piece of double-sided tape and sticking it behind the top two corners before I pinned it. Like just a tiny strip on the back so it grabs the cork a bit, then you can push the pin through it and the poster doesn't want to slide down anymore. Also I found that those thicker plastic push pins with the big heads hold way better than the thin metal ones they always have by the board. Another thing is if you can kind of press the poster flat against the board with your palm for a few seconds before putting the pins in, it helps it not crinkle or sag so much. idk maybe it's just me but that little bit of tape saved me so much frustration.

Got a pack of sticky tack from the dollar store and now my flyers stay put so well I'm honestly a little suspicious. Like if the apocalypse comes my poster will still be perfectly level while everything else burns.
