Appreciation post: the client who circled the problem instead of yelling

Three months back I had a logo revision go sideways. Client kept saying 'make it feel more stable' and I kept guessing wrong. After the third failed attempt she called me on the phone, not email. She said 'circle the part you think is broken, then we talk'. So I drew a red circle around the baseline spacing and sent it back. She did the same on her end with a different spot. Turns out we were both right but looking at different pieces. That one trick saved us a week of back and forth. Now I do that with every client before touching a file. Has anyone else tried the 'circle the problem' method or something similar? Curious if it works outside my little bubble.
