I finally stopped nesting my Figma layers 5 levels deep

I used to group everything into subgroups for organization, but it made finding a tiny icon take 30 seconds every time. After watching a colleague flatten their layers and just use naming conventions, I tried it on a recent dashboard project and cut my file navigation time in half. Has anyone else found a balance between nesting and flattening that works for them?

Brief code reviews on pull requests worked better than any style guide. Kept it to 4 main points max per review. People actually read them instead of just skimming.
