I was planning my days on paper for months before I saw my friend's simple phone list

I had this whole fancy planner with color codes and time blocks, but I never stuck to it. Then last month, my friend Sarah showed me her phone screen with just three things written down for the day, like 'call dentist,' 'grocery store,' and 'walk dog.' She said focusing on just those three made her actually finish them, while my long list just stressed me out. Has anyone else switched from a detailed plan to something way simpler and had it work better?

Honestly, that "long list just stressed me out" part is so real. How do you pick just three things?

Yeah, that "stressed me out" feeling is the worst. I just pick the three things that would make the biggest difference if I got them done today. Everything else can wait for tomorrow's list.
