Three months into my new hybrid schedule, my evenings fell apart

Tbh I moved to a 3 day office, 2 day home setup back in October and it felt great at first. But last week I realized I haven't cooked a real dinner since November, I just graze on snacks and cereal. The problem is my commute eats an hour each way on office days, so I'm wiped by 6pm and my home days get swallowed by laundry and errands. I tried blocking out Sunday meal prep but that just made my weekend feel like a second job. Has anyone else hit this wall where the flexibility of a hybrid life actually makes your routine worse, not better? What did you actually change to get back on track?

Ever notice how half the stuff people claim saves time actually just rearranges when you feel guilty about it? I fell into that trap hard. Sunday prep felt like I was cramming for a test nobody cared about. Now I just do one thing: I pick two dinners a week that take 20 minutes max, no fancy stuff, and I cook those on office days. The other nights are cereal and toast and that's fine honestly.
