My $15 clip lamp on a mic stand fixed my monitor glare for good
I work from a tiny corner desk near a west window in Austin and the afternoon sun was killing me. I tried closing blinds, tilting the screen, even a cheap hood. Last week I grabbed a metal clip lamp off Amazon and clamped it to my mic stand, aimed it at the wall behind my monitor. Now the wall glows warm and the screen has zero reflection. Cost me $15 and 5 minutes. Anyone else got a janky fix like this that beat buying a $200 bias light kit?

Same here, the cheap fix always works better than the fancy stuff.
