My buddy Sam saw his neighbor's ultra-clean standing desk setup through the window last week. It totally shamed his own cable jungle and piled-up paperwork. He spent all Sunday sorting old cables into bins and actually filing receipts, which he never does. That view of a tidy workspace next door was a serious gut check.

Honestly seeing someone else's clean space can kick you into gear like nothing else. I had the same thing happen when my sister showed me her closet system, and I went home and finally dealt with my own mess. What stuck for me was getting those cheap plastic cable sleeves to bundle wires together, it makes everything look instantly less crazy. Still have to tackle the paper pile sometimes, but just doing one small thing makes the next step feel easier. It's weird how a little outside view can give you that push to fix your own stuff.
