inHot take: I thought my desk needed to face the window, but a rainy Tuesday in Seattle changed my mind
You said your eyes stopped feeling tired. I read an article that said it takes about two weeks for your eyes to fully adjust to a new screen setup. They called it the "visual adaptation period." Makes sense why moving things helped you so much.

inUpdate: I just read that a new AI model can write a whole book chapter in under 10 minutes
Look at the top selling books right now, @shane_reed. A lot of them are written with help from these tools. The test isn't if a machine can write a whole chapter alone, it's if a writer can use it to make their own work better and faster. Plenty of readers are already enjoying books that used AI in the process without even knowing it.

inI caught a segment on TV about missing flight MH370 and now I'm puzzled.
Right? I totally overthink stuff like that too. Last week I spent an hour stressing over a text I sent, just to realize the person probably didn't even notice. Made myself feel weird for no reason.

inAfter months of tweaking, my homemade starch paste is holding signatures tight
My go-to has been a basic wheat paste for repairing paperback spines, mixed about one part flour to four parts water. It gets this smooth, almost rubbery feel when it dries that I prefer over the stiffness of PVA glue. I found the mix at my local art store works better than what I tried making from regular baking flour last year. Your starch paste method sounds like it hits that same sweet spot of being strong but still flexible.

inGetting my sister into comics by making it a game night thing
Wait, you let a kid read Deadpool? That's the part that gets me. It's not exactly kids stuff, but hey, if it gets them reading, who am I to judge.
