I finally noticed why my mockups kept getting rejected
For about 8 months I kept turning in UI designs that clients would shoot down. I thought it was about color or layout choices. Then I looked back at 15 rejected files and saw the pattern. Every single one had way too many font sizes and weights on one page. I was using 5 or 6 different styles when I only needed 2 or 3. Nobody told me that inconsistency reads as messy even if each element looks good alone. Has anyone else had a client call out spacing or font stuff before the actual design?

Realized the same thing when a client specifically complained my buttons didn't look consistent across pages.

yeah fonts are basically the client's way of saying "try harder" without actually saying it lol
