My mom struggles with our doorknobs after her surgery

She can't grip them properly, and it's frustrating to watch. We're replacing them all now, but it should have been thought of from the start.

It's always obvious in hindsight, those little things you never notice.

My coffee maker broke down yesterday, and I realized I'd ignored the weird grinding noise for weeks. It's like that with so many things, you know? (Like when you forget a birthday until the day passes.) We tune out the small warnings until they become big problems. I see it with my plants too, where I don't notice the yellow leaves until they're almost dead.

Ugh, @davis.leo that's so true... my car has been making a sound for months and I'm just waiting for the whole thing to fall apart one day. We're all out here ignoring the obvious until it's too late.
