Finally got through a full week without a comeback job

Had a streak of 6 months where every single truck I touched needed a second trip to fix something small I missed. This week I did 4 full injector swaps and a turbo replacement on a 2015 Freightliner and not one call back. Anyone else have those periods where you just cant catch a break?

Had a stretch like that on a 2018 Volvo last year. Did a full EGR system clean, a compressor, and two fan clutch replacements in one week. Then three months later every single one of those trucks came back with different problems that had nothing to do with me. One was a bad injector harness, another had a cracked manifold, and the third had a bad ECM. Spent half a day explaining to the shop manager that it wasn't my work that failed, just bad luck. Sometimes you just get a run of jobs where everything goes smooth and sometimes you get haunted by the same trucks over and over.

Ain't that the truth? Had the same nightmare with a fleet of Freightliners two years back.

Bad luck doesn't cause three separate trucks from the same shop to fail three months later, that's a pattern of poor workmanship.
