That Tuesday where everything went right on a Cummins rebuild in Tulsa
Last month I had this one Tuesday where a 6.7 Cummins rebuild just lined up perfect. Liner heights were all within .001 inch on the first check and the head gasket didn't leak a drop. Has anyone else had one of those rare days where nothing fights you back?

Jumped on a 5.9 common rail a few years back and had the exact same deal. Liner protrusion was dead on first try, zero shims needed, and the oil pan gasket sealed up tight with just one pass. It's those days that make you feel like you somehow beat the system. Then the next job hits you with a snapped bolt in the block and brings you right back down to earth. Enjoy it while it lasts, those perfect lineups don't come around often.
