Wrist pain from diesel injector work is brutal
Working on diesel injectors all day has my wrists in bad shape. The ache began after a tough repair job a while back. Now I can't hold a wrench steady without sharp pains. I tried wearing support wraps, but they slip off when I'm greasy. My boss tells me to rest, but the shop is packed with trucks. Pain pills just mask it for a short time. What do other mechanics do for this kind of problem? I need real solutions so I can keep doing my job without hurting.

Ever looked into carpal tunnel surgery maybe?

Try a different support wrap, one with a real strap.

Actually, those basic wraps with the single strap work better for a lot of people. They’re simpler to get on and off by yourself, and the compression is more even. A bulky strap with clips can dig in and be overkill for mild flare-ups.
