Hung out at a co-working space in Medellin for a month and noticed how many people don't actually work

I used to totally defend the whole "digital nomad" thing and say people were getting work done. But after actually spending time in one of those spaces, yeah, I get your point now. A lot of those laptops are just for show.

The window seat people are the worst offenders @fiona_nelson51 - they'll sit there for hours with that perfect lighting setup and one cup of coffee. Saw a guy yesterday with three screens open but his mouse hadn't moved in 45 minutes lol. Just scrolling through socials on his phone.

Actually I used to be one of those defenders too @fiona_nelson51, but you and susanm22 are making me rethink this whole thing. I work from coffee shops sometimes and honestly I've caught myself staring at my phone more than I'd like to admit (the guilt is real). It's kind of eye-opening to realize how many of us are just pretending to be productive with our little laptop setups.
