My coworking space wifi died mid-call with a client in Bali

I was in the middle of a Zoom pitch for a 3-month web dev contract in Ubud last Tuesday when the router just gave up. Lost the deal because they thought I was unprofessional even though I tried hotspotting. Has anyone else had a wifi failure cost them actual money like this?

ugh that sucks man. i feel your pain. honestly? get a travel router and a backup sim. i had the same thing happen in chiang mai and now i always have a 4g hotspot ready to go. saved my ass at least twice already.
