Sat in a coworking space in Medellin for 3 weeks and noticed no one talks to each other

I went to a spot in El Poblado thinking it'd be a good way to meet other remote workers. But everyone just sits with headphones on, staring at screens. Is this normal for digital nomad spots or did I just pick a weird one? Has anyone found a coworking space where people actually chat?

Go to a different spot, man, not every coworking space is antisocial.

Went to Selina in CDMX thinking the same thing. Nope. Same vibe. Everyone buried in laptops. Headphones on full blast. I literally sat next to the same guy for a week and we never said one word. It's like an unwritten rule. You gotta hunt for the places that actually have community. Found one in Bali called Hubud that was way better. People actually talk there. But most coworking spots are just quiet libraries with overpriced coffee.
