Question about those new smart circuit breakers
I thought they were just a gimmick for rich people until I put one on my own panel last month to watch a flickering light issue. It logged a voltage drop from a bad neutral connection at the pole I never would have caught with my meter. Has anyone else actually used these for real troubleshooting, or are they still mostly for show?

That voltage drop story is exactly why they're useful. I've seen them catch bad connections in walls before they got hot enough to start a fire. What brand did you go with?

So that bad neutral at the pole, did the utility company find it right away when you showed them the data, or did they give you a hard time about it first?
