Wasted $40 on a 'universal' power supply board that fried a TV main board

The voltage regulator was junk and sent a surge... now I'm out the board cost and have to explain to the customer. Anyone know a reliable supplier for LG parts?

Universal boards can be a gamble if you don't check the output first. A lot of techs use a dummy load to test them before installing. Might save a headache next time.
