Dropped $450 on a hydrafacial machine off Facebook Marketplace

Honestly, I thought I was getting a steal but the thing arrived with a cracked screen and the serum lines were all clogged. Took it to a repair shop in Austin and they said it would cost almost as much as a new one to fix. Should I just eat the loss or try to fix it myself with some tutorials? Has anyone else had luck buying used equipment from random sellers?

My $3200 dresser from an estate sale in Houston turned out to be infested with termites so I feel your pain lol. You're probably better off selling the cracked one for parts on ebay and cutting your loss.

Dude the termite thing is brutal. I bought a vintage record cabinet that looked perfect until I touched it and it literally crumbled to dust, so I feel your pain.
