Serious question, I thought LED masks were just a gimmick until my friend in Tampa let me borrow hers for a month.
My stubborn redness from rosacea went down by about 60% after using it every other night, which my regular creams never fully fixed. Anyone with similar skin conditions have luck with a specific wavelength or brand?

My dermatologist in Chicago told me most at-home LED units lack the medical-grade power to do much beyond surface-level calming. That 60% improvement is great, but it might just be managing symptoms while the root cause is still there. I tried a high-end panel for six months and my rosacea came right back when I stopped. These things can be a helpful tool, but they're rarely the permanent fix some brands claim.

So what does your dermatologist say actually treats the root cause then? Seems like a lot of these devices just offer temporary relief. Would be good to know what a real long term solution looks like.
