Took me 6 months to figure out why my glycolic peels were leaving patchy results
I kept getting uneven application with glycolic peels on certain clients. After 6 months of trying different prep steps and blaming my technique, I finally realized it was my neutralization spray nozzle. Had been using the same bottle for 2 years and it started spitting instead of misting. Swapped to a new sprayer last week and my last 4 peels came out smooth and even. Anyone else had a simple tool issue mess with their results for way too long?

Wait, you were using the same spray bottle for two entire years?

Two years on one spray bottle? @the_viola that honestly blew my mind a little. I've been teaching middle school for a decade and even I know to swap out spray bottles for cleaning supplies way more often than that. The nozzle clogging or degrading over time makes total sense now that you mention it. I had a similar thing happen with a spray for my own skincare routine where I couldn't figure out why it was coming out all streaky. Turned out the bottle was just old and the mist pattern got all wonky. Sometimes the simplest fix is the one we overlook for way too long.
