Just finished painting my front door that deep navy color I picked out last month.
After staring at the old faded red for three years, seeing that crisp new color against the white siding in the morning light finally makes the whole entryway look put together.

Tape off the hinges first, saves so much cleanup.

That's such a good tip... learned it the hard way after getting paint all over the bathroom door. A little prep makes the whole job feel way less messy.
