Thought my forge was busted. It was just the blower pipe clogged.
Spent a whole Saturday morning trying to figure out why my forge wasn't getting hot enough. I cleaned the burner, checked the propane, even took apart the regulator. Took me 3 hours before I noticed a spider nest blocking the air intake on the blower pipe. A quick blast with compressed air fixed it right up. Anyone else have a critter mess with their gear?

Spider nest blocking the air intake" is EXACTLY why I keep a piece of window screen over my blower intake now. One mud dauber nest cost me two hours and a lot of bad language.

Spider nest blocking the air intake." Story of my life man. Every time a machine acts up, it's always something stupid and small. Not a belt or a bearing, but a dried up wasp or a leaf. Just how it goes I guess.
