After the Milan shows, I figured deadstock was a flash in the pan. But @wendysmith is right, it's becoming standard practice.

Yeah, I used to think it was just a passing trend too. Seeing it become standard practice at fashion week really changed my mind. It shows the industry is actually committing to it, not just talking. That shift from a one-off thing to normal procedure is a big deal. What made you first think it was just a flash in the pan?
