Dropped $800 on a floor scraper attachment for my demo work, best money ever or a total waste?
It cut my prep time in half on a recent glue-down vinyl tear out, but that's a lot of cash for a tool that only gets used on certain jobs. Has anyone else bought a big ticket item that either saved their back or just collected dust?

That's a no brainer if it saves that much time. Big tools pay for themselves fast on the right jobs.

Yeah but you gotta factor in the time to learn it too, that's the real hidden cost.
