Visiting the untouched forests in Canada has me conflicted about spreading the word.

Sharing could ruin what makes them special, so let's think first.

Wait, there are actually untouched places left? How untouched are we talking here? Maybe some secrets are better kept quiet.

Exactly. It's like we're trained to ignore the quiet spots. Drive past that same empty park every day, never stop. But fly across the country for some famous canyon. The real untouched thing is just paying full attention anymore. We're all so packed in but totally alone in it. That's the secret hiding in plain sight.

Funny how we'll drive right past a hundred quiet spots to chase some idea of untouched wilderness. Seen it with old town squares or overgrown lots nobody cares about anymore. The truly untouched places are probably hiding in plain sight because everyone's looking at a map instead of their own neighborhood.
