Read somewhere that mixing joinery methods like that is smart for different stresses. Glue in dados does seem to hold well without screws. Sanding tenons is always a chore though.

Disagree that video speed is the main barrier. Some folks learn better from still images with arrows showing movement paths, not moving pictures at all. My aunt with vertigo can't watch any exercise videos but follows step by step photos just fine. Maybe offer multiple formats instead of just slowing down one type. What about audio cues for people who need eyes free guidance?

Notice how we never feel weird about reusing a cereal box for storage but bags feel gross lol. I try to only reuse them for dry stuff like pasta or rice where it doesn't really matter.
