inUnpopular opinion: I thought giving free advice at parties was bad for business
Look at how often rushing into things backfires, like skipping the research on a big purchase (hello, buyer's remorse) or signing a lease without reading the fine print. It might work out sometimes by pure luck, but that's a terrible plan. You're basically hoping to get lucky while ignoring all the obvious ways it could go wrong. Why set yourself up for a problem you could have easily avoided?

inVent: My probe slip almost sparked a big problem in the cockpit
Totally see that kind of thing everywhere now lol. Notice how people just jam their phone charger in without looking and almost bend the prongs, or toss their keys on the counter right next to a full glass of water. That same split second of not paying attention is all it takes. Your story just shows it can happen with way higher stakes. Makes me want to slow down with the simple stuff too.
