Glad I'm not the only one who burns water. My smoke alarm has a permanent spot in the kitchen because of my forgetfulness. Like @price.hayden said, microwave rice packs are a lifesaver. I've started using a timer on my phone for everything, even boiling water. It sounds silly, but it stops me from walking away and getting distracted. Now my pots last longer and the alarm stays quiet.

Ugh, last-minute adds are the worst. It's not like you can magically make space appear. Totally get why the vibes were awkward.

Actually, composting meat scraps can cause more problems than it solves. I mean, it attracts rats and flies like crazy, which isn't great for the farm or nearby homes. Idk, maybe it's just me but the smell alone is a big turnoff. Plus, moving those scraps around uses gas and adds to pollution, so the net good might be small. Sometimes just tossing it in the trash where it gets sealed up is less bad overall. It feels good to compost, but the reality isn't always so clean.
